We give women access to a closet of their dreams - one that is curated specifically for them, learns and adapts with their feedback, and provides an endless collection of high-end fashion for their wear. Even better, our rental model is making fashion sustainable by enabling our customers to reduce, reuse and restyle!

**Who are we are**
Our team of 40 is a close-knit family of data scientists, engineers, designers, merchandisers, stylists, operations specialists, finance whizzes and more. Our team continues to expand and evolve as our business grows at an exponential pace! We strive to stay lean and mean, and to always have fun along the way.
Armoire is 3 years old and was born out of MIT’s prestigious accelerator program. We’ve raised two rounds of funding since then and have been generating revenue and growing quickly.

**What’s the role?**
We are looking for a customer-focused full-stack engineer to join our mission. In this role, you will collaborate with our product and design team to solve customer problems with delightful experiences. You will be an integral part of our small but growing team focused on developing frontend experiences. You will have the opportunity to actively participate in all phases of the development process, from requirements and design through implementation and testing.
Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks for frontend web development, and service-oriented architectures.

• Build awesome web experiences using Vue.js
• Plan and accommodate all mediums, screen sizes and device types
• Design, code, test, and document systems while identifying multiple solutions to complex problems
• Think first of the customer and promote good usability and accessibility in every experience
• Be nimble and react quickly to changing business conditions
• Work with product managers, designers, and other team members to own your solution from development to production

• 2+ years building web and/or mobile experiences with evidence of exceptional ability
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and web markup including HTML5, CSS3
• Experience building responsive applications across a variety of browsers and devices using modern techniques
• Experience with modern frontend development in frameworks such as Vue.js or React
• Proficient in one or more core languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, C++)
• Experience building services to support a variety of client systems, both mobile and desktop
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Experience with Python
• Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git
• Excellent unit testing and integration testing practices to ensure that critical systems are bug-free
• Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them
• Expert knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with web applications that leverage big data technology and machine learning strongly preferred
