Internship position in a startup, with candidates eligible for academic credit and stock options.
Position is a NON-PAID internship to learn skills of designing and building flying cars, while eligible for receiving academic credit and possibility of receiving stock options.
Armada is a 4-year old startup funded by a major Silicon Valley VC.
Unique opportunity to have a real hands-on experience in an upcoming trillion dollar industry - flying cars. Personal Aerial Vehicle (flying cars) is a combination of a VTOL aircraft, drones, and airplanes.
ABOUT ARMADA:
Armada is a startup funded by major Silicon Valley VCs. Office, where you will be working, is in Santa Clara, CA. There are about 20 people on the team. Armada has a small but experienced senior leadership with multiple PhDs on-board and experienced employees from 15 to 30 years of experience. This is a good place to learn, get hands-on, and gain experience through internship.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Soldering
Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics.
Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
Experience and missile/aerospace related education/background.
System performance monitoring and evaluation experience.
Electrical troubleshooting skills.
About Position:
Assists engineers in the research, design, development and test of a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
Work with expert engineers as they provide technical/engineering support to Electronics teams for issues related to the performance of the various electronics hardware.
Assist more senior engineers with the design, development, and test for electrical support equipment.
The scope of these tasks ranges from conceptual development and initial design to production and deployment support.
This position will also require the ability to understand, design and fix custom electronic circuitry and assemblies.
