Position title: Sales Manager
Location: San Francisco, Bay Area, or Scarborough, ON
Schedule: Full time
Reporting To: CMO & CEO

Arka is bringing technology to a not-so-technology-like industry. We’re a leading source for making personalized custom boxes. Apart of the Y Combinator and 500 Startups community, and partners with some of the biggest brands; Shopify, Shipstation, Cratejoy etc.

Who are we looking for?

The Sales Manager, would be a person who passionately believes in the exponential growth potential of sales and networking. He/she is a person eager to work with a new-age company in a traditional market. They would work closely with the CMO and CEO to implement/ execute sales strategies, and get sh!t done!


The Sales Manager is responsible for:
Showing face and networking at events that cater to our audience
Drop everything to call prospects that come into our pipeline the moment they do
Manage an operations rep that quotes prospects, handles manufacturers relationships, and manages support queries. Be on top of their progress, and communication. work closely with them to make sure you’re in sync about closing sales.
Help improve online sales communications. At the end of the day, we want to CLOSE SALES! You’re here to help us maximize the way we do it
Keep track of sales efforts in call logs, and our sales CRM
Calling/emailing leads that have not converted
Calling leads that have not purchased from us in a while (past the time they would normally have ordered)

Qualifications And Experience
Bachelors/Diploma in a related topic
1-2 years of sales experience
Proven sales track record

Data driven approach to execution
Fierce worker that doesn’t give up, or worry about the amount of work pending
Will and desire to learn and go above and beyond task requests
Ability to change tactics quickly in response to outcomes
