Job Description

As a backend engineer, you'll have to own the end to end development of the life cycle of the one or many products. You will be taking the lead in deciding the technology stack, future projections of scale, architecture design etc.

The ideal candidate is clearly passionate about new opportunities in consumer products and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and handling scale. Creating reliable, scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science and server side technologies.

What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

- Experienced backend developer with extensive work on NodeJS & Java
- Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills, and data structures
- Having worked on cloud-based services (AWS, Azure) and handled scale, traffic, tuning of servers, etc.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with a variety of developer tools and product features across the spectrum of the software development lifecycle

Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. Strong computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience, including at least 3.5 years of real-world web development experience using JSP, Java Servlets, Java Struts, Spring & Hibernate
- Good understanding of design patterns, object-oriented design and frameworks
- Experience in Java, Ruby on Rails will be a plus
- Know-how of RDBMS skills and experience in DB/SQL
