AppliedVR is revolutionizing pain management through immersive technology

Java Software Engineer

Apply now
appliedVR has created a web-based backend that communicates with Unity VR applications running on Android phones. The backend cannot currently command the VR applications to terminate, as termination must be handled by the Unity framework itself.

To solve this limitation, we will use an Android service to communicate between the remote backend and Unity VR applications. The sole purpose of this service is to receive commands (in the form of push notifications) from the remote backend, and then send those commands to Unity.

This job requires close coordination with both appliedVR's Unity developer and backend developer, who will build the logic directly connected to the service you build.
