Applico is the world's first Platform Innovation company. We help CEO's build or buy their own platform businesses to compete with big tech monopolies like Amazon, Google, Alibaba and others.

The role is very challenging & will require you to think on your feet. You'll lead an existing team of four with the ability to add additional people as well as expand your marketing budget. This is an early-stage opportunity to join a company that is transforming the way traditional businesses disrupt themselves to compete against big tech. The Head of Marketing role is a new role at Applico.

As a company, we believe that the only way to build a leading company in digital transformation is by building a brand that truly stands for something with a service that solves real pain points of the CEO. In this role, you will help our sales & marketing teams interact with the most elite customer base on the planet: CEO's of companies with revenue of $500mm+. We're looking for the Head of Marketing to take the momentum we've built and run with it, ensuring that Applico continues to scale while building a brand that is a rallying cry for platform innovation.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from the people who wrote the book on platforms & successful entrepreneurs who have sold their platform companies to the likes of Square (NYSE: SQ) and raised hundreds of millions in institutional funding.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand/Community: manage PR resources for TV bookings, speaking engagements and print publications.

Events: we host many events specifically designed for the C-suite and members of the board. In addition to hosting, we regularly attend industry events, occasionally sponsoring if synergistic

CRM/data: we have a data analyst and see data as the catalyst for all our marketing campaigns

Customer acquisition: we use a variety of digital and traditional channels ranging from email, social, mailers, phone calls, and ads.

Content: we publish content on our blog, Tier 1 publications like the Financial Times, and regularly on sites like Inc or Techcrunch. We are launching a podcast as well as an ETF based upon platform business models.

Team Building: managing and building a high performance marketing team is key to the retention and expansion of the team


Required Experience:

At least 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in B2B marketing

Experience at early/growth stage company required

Exceptional analytical skills with experience measuring and forecasting program effectiveness including ROI & CAC/LTV

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation

Experience managing a team

Entrepreneurial experience a plus

Experience in Salesforce and marketing automation tools a plus
