Customer Service Specialist - Full-Time

We are looking for a Customer service representative to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. As a member of the Customer Happiness team, you will play a critical role in our Greenpoint office helping our product reach our customer’s doors! This position supports all areas of our customer happiness including, but not limited to, the following areas: merchandise handling (picking and putting away), receiving, quality checking, shipping, and packaging specialized customer orders.

Responsibilities
• Manage large amounts of emails. chats, and phone calls
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales and post-sales support, including processing returns.
• Review or make changes to customer accounts

Requirements
• Familiarity working with Gorgias, Shipstation, and Shopify are a big plus
• Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements, providing reliable and predictable attendance
• Ability to work safely, minding personal and team safety in daily operations
• Can work in multiple areas as trained on a daily or weekly basis
• Considers the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external
customers
• Work smart by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality
work
• Executes effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping
others informed of work plans and progress toward goals
• Clearly conveys and accurately receives information by a variety of methods and in
various situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
