As a Senior Payroll Analyst at Alto, you will own the Payroll process from start to finish. You will ensure the configuration of ADP meets Alto’s needs and establish appropriate workflows to ensure folks are paid correctly and on time. You are team-focused and want to do whatever it takes to get the job done because you care about the success of the Team as a whole.

 

Responsibilities:

* Own the Payroll Process using ADP Workforce Now/Time and Attendance
* Create efficient workflows for processing the bi-weekly (W2) and weekly (1099) cycles reporting
* Answer payroll questions, create standard audit reports, ensure configurations are set up appropriately
* Partner with employees and managers to ensure time cards are accurate and approved in a timely fashion
* Partner with HR and benefit providers to ensure benefits deductions are processed correctly and fed back into Alto’s benefits programs through PlanSource and WageWorks
* Maintain high-quality data in ADP
* Partner with Finance/Accounting to provide reports on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis
* Create content and train employees on how to use ADP

 

You are an ideal candidate if you:

* At least 3+ years of experience processing payroll with ADP Workforce Now for exempt, non-exempt, and independent contractors
* Love data validation and ensuring data integrity across systems
* Are experienced with managing vendors and will help us elevate how we leverage vendors to execute on People Ops projects
* Are a self-directed and detail-oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience developing and improving processes
* Are a strong communicator with the ability to partner and influence across levels and functions
* Love to help and value the customer experience
* Are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
* Are self aware and want to learn and be honest about development areas
* Value organization and have a strong ability to prioritize effectively
* Have a passion for Alto’s mission and values

* Have strong project management skills/are proficient with project management tools
