AWE | Advancing Women Executives is a mission-driven training and development company that creates equity and economic growth in the workplace. AWE services include events, training, and executive coaching for senior executives and rising stars. AWE currently supports clients based in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago and will be expanding to Texas, DC and Atlanta in 2020. AWE is based in Los Angeles, CA, and has offices in the Bay Area and New York .

AWE is seeking a highly qualified Regional Director to join our team to be based in New York and report to the Managing Director. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate revenue through new sales and recurring revenues to senior executives, heads of HR and Learning and Development, and internal company sponsors. The role is also responsible for management of the New York team.

Prospecting and closing sales in the greater New York area;
Lead and develop a team of sales and client relations associates;
Sales forecasting and new business pipeline management;
Strategize about sales and client relations process and services;
Conduct Training Sessions across New York locations;
Host networking lunches and dinners with AWE leaders.

A successful candidate will possess:

Natural ability to connect with people and to be a connector for people;
6+ years transactional sales or fundraising experience with success negotiating and closing business;
Exceptional ability to immediately establish one's credibility with senior executives;
Willingness to work outside strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of customer/member service and overall business growth;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to large groups;
Great sense of humor;
Excellent meeting facilitation skills; ability to conduct 100% phone-based meetings;
Ability to meet personal and team weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals;
Superior time management, detail orientation and organization skills;
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
