We are looking to hire a Business Development Executive, in a full-time capacity, who will be responsible for getting B2B clients our product to relevant organisations/institutions. The is a B2B sales position based out of Bangalore but requires extensive traveling. Mostly, the travelling would be within Bangalore city itself.

You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing them, and closing them. Once the customer signs up, you will also be responsible to ensure that the customer is on-boarded. If you enjoy meeting people, have the flair to build relationships, and are able to explain complex technical concepts to laymen, you will enjoy working in this position.


Responsibilities:

• Generate leads, schedule meetings and do product demonstrations.
• Become a product/industry expert and understand the product inside out.
• Handle objections, nurture leads, negotiate contracts, and on-board them.
• Meet or exceed your quarterly revenue targets.
• Travel extensively iff required.
• Manage leads in CRM and present updates on daily and weekly calls.
• Attend trade events to generate leads. Develop partnerships to generate more leads.
• Gather information required from clients to onboard them, coordinate with the rest of the team and communicate with the customers.
• Meet existing customers and develop relationships.
• We work mostly remotely so you need to be present on the common calls on Zoom/Skype.
• Take part in direction of the company and strategise on the next steps.


Skills required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Persuasive and ability to convince people. Ability to build rapport with people required.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts so that non-technical buyers can understand.
• Flair to do an engaging presentation and product demo to a set of buyers. Handle objections and consult.
• Aggressive nature to meet or exceed targets.
• Experience in Selling SaaS or B2B technology or travel products a plus
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Mandatory: Self Starter and ability to work with little guidance, Ownership, Energy, Ethics, Team player, Hunger to learn
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and MBA preferred (either is not mandatory).
• Entrepreneurship qualities.
• You love what you do and strongly believe that you're best at what you do.
• You're good at closing.
