Acquire creates software that helps businesses build their best customer experiences. For our U.S.-based team, we are seeking a Sales Engineer who is adept at removing technical and business obstacles in the sales process. You will be responsible for partnering with our Account Executives and Customer Success team and advocating for customer interests to relevant internal teams.

Communication is paramount and we expect you to come charged with ideas that you can effectively convey, collaborate on, and implement with the support of key executives.

Be a technical expert on all aspects of the Acquire product

Strategize with sales reps to help achieve target sales quotas

Build strong relationships with prospects and establish technical credibility to help advance deals

Maintain relationships with existing customers and look for opportunities to expand their product usage and improve their security posture where relevant

Deliver successful proofs-of-concept, deployment planning, and technical consulting engagements

Actively communicate with engineering and marketing with respect to evolving customer requirements in the marketplace

Respond to technical elements of RFI's / RFP's

Manage multiple projects in parallel, taking an Active approach, setting clear next-steps and expectations.

Build demonstrations for clients and represent to C-level executives

Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.

Proficiency in writing JavaScript, manipulating complex object structures and building API integrations.

Experience and a track record of success building solutions for enterprise customers; includes proven skills identifying key stakeholders, winning value propositions, and compelling events.


Able to configure and install enterprise technologies including network infrastructure, virtualization, web applications, Windows, Mac, and Linux

Knowledge of commonly used security technologies and protocols including two-factor authentication, Single Sign-On, VPN, various authentication protocols (OATH, SAML, ADFS)

Excellent project management skills

Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed functions

Excellent written and oral business communication skills

3+ years relevant experience in technical enterprise sales

Familiarity with SaaS and Cloud technology


Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field

Background in product development, product management, or technical pre-sales of enterprise SaaS solutions.

Deep understanding of browser technology and cybersecurity
