I am a current PhD student in school psychology at UF where I am working as a research and teaching assistant. My research focuses on updating a relational aggression intervention for middle school girls. In addition, I am passionate about cyber aggression, positive psychology, and mental health.
At my undergraduate institution, I was a co-founder of a peer advocacy program called Pathways, a referral and support program for students in need. At UAlbany, I was the graduate research assistant for the Office of Institutional Research working on various data projects- notably the Delaware Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity, which allows for comparative analysis of faculty teaching loads, direct instructional costs, and separately budgeted scholarly activity in comparison to other peer institutions. I also worked with a counseling psychology professor write a manuscript called "Examining the Factor Structure of the Perceived Ethnic Discrimination Questionnaire in an Australian University Student Sample," which was submitted to the International Journal of Culture and Mental Health. At UF, I am working on updating a relational aggression intervention for middle school girls in addition to the primary instructor for a course called "Teaching Diverse Populations."
I'm looking for a role where I can combine my academic experiences and current interests with the fast pace excitement of a start-up. I'm looking to step out of academia and into a role where I can start making an immediate difference.
