As the first-hired Designer at several companies, I'm most proud of being responsible for bringing the culture and practice of UX Design to the organizations I've helped build.
In practice, I'm very proud of the work I did with AppFolio and LinkedIn.
At AppFolio, I designed an online rent payment service that collected over $100 million in its first year. Part of the project's success was due to the extensive usability testing I did, which resulted in our reject rate being far below the industry average.
In 2008, I worked as the lead designer for LinkedIn’s Contacts product, which at the time was used by over 50 million members. Today, LinkedIn has over 135 million members. Much of the work I did for LinkedIn is still live and in use today.
I am also a founding member of the Jef Raskin Center for Humane Interfaces. Jef was my mentor and was best known for starting the Macintosh project at Apple.
