iOS and back-end developer, Swift, XCode, AWS · Fun iOS app.
I worked on this native iOS app as a side-project. I used Swift and many 3rd… · More party Swift and Objective-C libraries to develop the app. For the most part of the back-end, I used AWS along with the following tech-stack: Node.js and Express.js and many other npm modules on EC2 as back-end server, MySQL on RDS as database and Redis on ElastiCache as in-memory data store, Route53 for DNS. I made use of some Firebase features such as Authentication, Database, AdMob and Analytics. I also used Fabric, Firebase, Facebook and Google Analytics to monitor app and landing website usage.
I did some AdWords, Apple Search Ads and social media marketing for customer acquisition. I also worked on the financial plan and customer services.
I worked on this web app project with a team of 21 developers divided into groups of 3. I developed the internal messaging system and its integration with other components of the project. I built the chat app on top of Rocket.chat platform which was written using AngularJS, Node.js, Meteor and CoffeeScript. Therefore, I constantly made use of these technologies. I used Azure to host the app.
