UX Design Lead

Awair is looking for a senior UX designer in San Francisco office. Design is the heart of Awair. UX is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products. In this role, you will be responsible for Awair digital product UX including apps, business dashboards, and websites. You will work with the Product and Design team making sure we define, ideate, prototype, and deliver the best Awair experience for all our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Prototype user flows, wireframes, information architecture in low to high fidelity for the go-to-market products
-Foster user-centric design. Run user-researches and develop actionable insights to guide product experience
-Work with Design team to create design visions and future scenarios, and articulate the journey to get there
-Work closely with PMs and software engineers to implement the product to the market with the original design intent
-Develop a cohesive 'aesthetic of user experience' for Awair that extends across all user-facing touch points beyond the screen experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-5+ years of professional hands-on experience focusing on pure UX design
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, product, industrial), HCI, HF, or a related field
-Portfolio demonstrating compelling app and web UX design projects from high level concepts to final specifications
-Efficient skills and proven experience for user research.
-Proficiency in prototyping and wire-framing design tools for production
-Strong grasp of software development and best practices
-Ability to handle ambiguity and calibrated to the startup environment

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
-UI design skills and visual design sensibility
-B2B service (and operation) design experience
-Experience on hardware product development
-Front-end development skills with experience with HTML, CSS and -Javascript as well as data analytics skills
-Leadership experience to manage a team and communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively
