I've been actively looking at early stage investment opportunities since late 2006. I spent 3 years at Redpoint Ventures and I've made 23 personal angel investments. I've opened this syndicate to make larger investments, help founders speed up the fundraising process, and have a more active role than a traditional angel.
My portfolio currently has a Distributed to Paid in (DPI) of 4.9x and a Total Value to Paid In (TVPI) ratio ~18x and maintains significant upside potential.
Additional funding has come from great investors like Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Redpoint, Formation8, GGV, Greylock, Felicis Ventures, David Sachs/Valor Equity, CRV, True Ventures, Thrive Capital, SoftTechVC Innovation Endeavors, Forerunner Ventures, Data Collective, Upfront Ventures, etc.

I've spent the last 8 years building an extensive network of entrepreneurs and investors. Many of them have allowed me to invest in their companies or alongside their funds. I know the funding landscape and many founders ask me to help them raise additional capital (see Forbes) after I've committed. I'm going to use this syndicate to formalize and speed up that process.

Please be aware that investing in startups is risky. I'm looking to invest in startups that have the potential to return 50x+, but many startups fail, and the time horizon to liquidity is long (7+ years).
