Please don't use our data to build your own competing startup platform.
It is strictly forbidden to use the AngelList API to source new sales leads, solicit users with job offers, etc.
Don't sublicense the data to other people. Don't crawl the API to scrape a complete copy of the data.
Please contact us if you'd like to use an endpoint not listed in the API docs.
Link to AngelList (with a dofollow link) wherever API data is used or displayed.
Don’t provide access to our API to any third parties.
Access tokens should be treated with a high level of security. Do not ask our users for their login credentials.
Don't publicly discuss an ongoing private financing. There are federal laws which govern these announcements, commonly referred to as General Solicitation. You can read more about it here.
Don't use the AngelList logo or the word "AngelList" as the logo or name for the product you build upon on the AngelList API. We don't want users to be confused about third-party products being AngelList-sponsored products.
When applying for API access and throughout your use of our API and the AngelList platform, do not make misrepresentations or omissions regarding your identity, the purpose for which you are using the API or any other matters.
Do not share your API account with any other individual. You shall be held responsible for any third party’s use of your login and password unless you have used best efforts to prevent all third parties from accessing your login and password. Do not obtain multiple API accounts for developing any one or related set of applications or software.
