I highly recommend Andrew Hill. He is a talented, passionate, and innovative teacher who develops inspiring relationships with his students, their parents, and his colleagues. Andrew’s passion to create transformative activities for language learning using technology is a talent that serves him well and results in high levels of engagement in his classroom. His work ethic is impeccable. He always goes beyond the required tasks to find what is best for his students. Andrew’s other skills include the ability to seamlessly connect people and schools to education technology and language learning. While in the USA or abroad, Andrew has served as a liaison between community, industry, and university partners to discuss projects related to curriculum development, school design, teacher recruitment and hiring. This is in addition to his primary duties of developing programs and curriculum for English language teaching. I have no hesitation to recommend Andrew for any academic position related to language teaching and learning, technology in language learning, and English language programs.
Andrew worked with the Embassy as a virtual intern. He did a fantastic job working very independently in a new position, creating sustainable programs and keeping in close contact with our staff. We were particularly impressed with his initiative, ability to take a project from concept to deliverable, and his consistent follow-through. He developed materials we will be able to use for many years to come and helped us build new relationships with schools, teachers and communities that are often hard for us to reach. We would definitely recommend him for any position that requires creativity, problem solving and initiative!
