Android developer · Geoptima is a successful application, supported by a refined backend system, which enables its clients to monitor and evaluate the… · More quality of their networks. The Geoptima project itself covers multiple mobile platforms such as the popular Android and IOS platforms. Geoptima translates into a project meant to deal with the following three points, with a single solution:
1. The mobile context introduces the need to monitor and measure the quality and expected performance of the various available services at any given location. For Service Providers, this information becomes vital so that they can manage and offer the best possible service to their clients on any given location.
2. Smartphones paved the way for the new mobile era, allowing for this new rich mobile context to take the front of technology usage, but, as all new technology, it also brought new challenges and limitations. Mobile applications can take up much of the limited space Smartphones have to offer and can even use mobile data excessively which can have great costs for the users’ wallets. Sometimes these issues occur without the user ever noticing them (for instance, a mobile application might be running in the background so the user might not be aware it is running and consuming data).
3. Mobile applications have the potential to become extremely helpful, solving very old problems such as spending hours in a queue, waiting for the possibility to contact support on some issue. Mobile applications can ease these kinds of processes, allowing for further improvement of customer care systems.
