Since launching in 2017, Ample has developed 3 core products, grown rapidly, grown developed a dedicated customer-base, and recently raised $2mm to help scale our business through our Series A milestones. Investors include Slow Ventures, Compound, Dick Costolo (former CEO, Twitter), Mike Krieger (co-founder, Instagram).
You would lead our digital marketing department to develop creative, data-driven strategies for increasing online reach, conversions, retention, and virality. You’d be responsible for setting the direction of our marketing efforts, and building out the marketing team as we grow.
~ Direct the analytics and budgeting of paid advertisement on our digital platforms, including Facebook advertising and Google Adwords.
~ Track user behavior, run tests, and optimize our ecommerce store, web SEO, and email campaigns for conversions.
~ Design strategies to increase acquisition, retention, and referral metrics.
~ Use creative digital growth tactics to increase reach and virality of ads, content, PR, and customer evangelism.
~ Analyze and report on success of ads, web feature launches, lifecycle marketing, content, and PR, using the data to prioritize next steps.
~ Build out and lead the marketing team as we grow.
~ Collaborate closely with branding, content, product development, and customer support on strategy and execution.
~ Implement experimental design framework aimed at identifying and testing potential new growth channels.
~ Have 6+ years of digital/performance/growth marketing experience with proven track record of success.
~ Are an expert in digital ad management, conversion optimization, A/B testing, SEO.
~ Have proven success in leading creative marketing campaigns (e.g. influencer marketing, content marketing, PR distribution, social media, ambassador programs)
~ Have no fear of rolling up your sleeves and doing the work, yet have experience and enthusiasm for building/leading a marketing team as we grow.
~ Strong analytical skills to understand customer behavior and ROI of new and existing channels.
~ Creative, experimental, iterative mindset who naturally and continuously tinkers with marketing strategies.
~ Are fast, results-oriented, positive, and proactive “founder mentality”, comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment.
