In this position I have performed very varied tasks, including management, frontend and backend development, the creation of data processing pipelines and the development of machine learning models for our NLP product.
At QMENTA I developed pipelines to improve magnetic resonance images in order to obtain better tractographies of Multiple Sclerosis patients. I also developed:
- a...more programmatic API in python to automate communications with their platform - an interface (angular) + backend (flask) to perform comparison of certain metrics of patient populations. - a system to analyze hand motion data from Parkinson patients and produce automatic reports.
My first achievement in the programming world was to develop a system to simulate biochemistry experiments, so that these could be designed to be more accurate. This system used Montecarlo simulation and was fully written in C from the ground.
After this, I'm proud of my work at QMENTA, where I developed pipelines to improve their treatment of Magnetic Resonance images to perform a very cool technique named "tractography".
My highest professional achievement to day has been IOMED. This is a startup founded by me and two partners which focuses on Natural Language Processing of medical texts. We started for nothing and have been able to develop an amazing NLP engine and a sophisticated infrastructure to analyze medical data from hospitals.
