At Accompany, we are building a virtual chief of staff that helps busy professionals always make a great impression and be briefed for all of their important meetings with the click of a button. We integrate with a user’s email, contacts, and calendars, and we scour millions of publicly available sources to provide detailed briefings on meeting participants, real-time news alerts about contacts and companies, and comprehensive company profiles. Our product is available on iOS, web, and as a Gmail extension.

With our product entering beta in August 2016, we are building out our team to help us scale and grow.

We’re looking a Business Operations Associate to join our team to drive a number of initiatives forward as we scale. We are looking for an analytical and creative guru who thrives on ambiguity, solving problems and has impeccable business judgement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing objective analysis and driving strategic initiatives for the team. Experience at a management consulting firm, technology-focused investment bank, or any other analytical role within a rapidly growing organization ideal for this role. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly ambiguous environment and is able to drive strategies from ideation to implementation.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze internal and external data to help identify where we should focus our efforts for growing the business
Review competitive and analogous offerings and identify opportunities for our product and service to improve
Understand customer needs through surveys, interviews, and product usage
Work with members of the Product and Growth teams to drive a range of initiatives to improve our product and help us grow
Drive marketing and growth experiments across the funnel and scale the ones that make sense for our business to scale

Qualifications

A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
2+ years professional experience at a management consulting firm or technology-focused investment bank, or in an analytical role at a fast-paced technology company
Superior quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills
Distinctive problem solving skills and deep creativity
Extensive knowledge of Excel; SQL a plus
Ability to shift priorities quickly while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
Comfort in a face-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
Ability to synthesize strategic insights and problem-solve individually or in a group setting
High-energy and a team-first, positive attitude
