Steve Farzam is an executive who currently serves as the COO of the Shore Hotel. He has also studied medicine and law, and until recently, Steve Farzam served as a flight paramedic and professor of emergency medicine.
Steve Farzam's career has been defined by exceptional work and passion in a variety of areas: sociology, emergency medicine, law, and, most recently, hospitality.
An incredible advocate for sustainability and eco-friendly business practices, Steve Farzam oversaw the design and construction of the Shore Hotel that resulted in its certification as the first LEED Gold Certified hotel in Santa Monica.
Furthermore, he committed the Shore Hotel to reduce its carbon footprint, leading to awards and accolades over the hotel's green stewardship and environmental responsibility. He also joined with GrenCharge networks to provide the very first Level II fast car charger in the nation.
Amazingly, Steve Farzam received the Medal of Valor from the Burn Institute and San Diego County Board of Supervisors for bravery and heroic work while saving the life of a man who was trapped in a burning vehicle.
