Teamly is an already-launched startup, with around 10,000 users, some paying customers, and lots of press coverage and investor interest, including the possibility of being part of one of the valley's top accelerator programs early in 2012.

What are we?

Teamly is a bit like Basecamp, but for managing people rather than projects. We combined a productivity tool for individuals with lightweight management reporting for businesses. The goal is to help individuals get more of the right work done, and managers build better performing teams and companies.

What's the vision?

To become the leading way to manage teams online. Managing employees is similarly challenging, and there's a huge opportunity for software to help with this, after all, people are the most important and expensive asset of any business.

We help by not just helping managers inside of companies but the end-user, the individual employee. Managing your productivity can be hard, especially when you have a mile-long task list. Existing productivity software helps you get more stuff done, but Teamly helps you focus on being effective rather than merely efficient.
