A PCR machine is essentially a xerox machine for DNA. PCR machines are expensive ($3,000+), but necessary for doing most DNA work. This puts DNA discovery out of reach of many. We're changing that!

We engineered OpenPCR over the past year and started shipping kits worldwide in July. Researchers, teachers, and hobbyists bought 48 OpenPCR kits (and counting!) for $25,000 in sales.

Now we need investment for salaries and initial prototyping of a new fully-assembled product.
