Really good investor, even better person. As advertised, he's pro-entrepreneur, considerate and hardworking. For a balanced review, I should complain about something, so Floodgate may need to grow their staff. His team is 100% awesome, but they sometimes have difficultly responding due to their small size.
But don't get me wrong, you won't find a more founder friendly, value-add, entrepreneur centric investor in the valley. If I exit my current company for untold fortunes, I'd still ask Mike to invest in my next startup.

Mike is very supportive. I was a co-investor in a company with him that ran out of cash. The funding had been a party round, so no one really had the incentive to step up. Mike stepped up. He led the way for others of us to support the company. The company eventually made it and returned a healthy multiple for everyone, the entrepreneurs and the investors. I'm now wary of "leader-less" rounds, but Mike saved us all on that one.
Also, his "Thunder Lizards" presentation is great. Watch it if you haven't done so already.
