About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Finance and Operations Associate to join our growing team! This is a newly created role to support the growing needs of our business and will play an integral role in financial and operational reporting, streamlining accounting and financial processes, and contributing to strategic projects that bridge finance and operations departments.
As part of a small team reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you’ll have visibility and impact across the organization collaborating with executives and functional leaders. The ideal candidate should exhibit a blend of financial acumen, operational insight, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving responsibilities.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and support the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting processes, encompassing P&L, Operating Expense, and Balance Sheet models.
- Assist with short and long-term strategic planning projects and analysis related to corporate budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) dashboards to streamline the reporting of various finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate and insightful tracking of essential metrics
- Support the preparation of essential materials required for regular executive leadership and investor meetings, ensuring all financial data is comprehensive and up-to-date.
- Manage end-to-end client contracting and invoicing processes within PatientIQ’s revenue recognition software.
- Partner with team members to ensure accurate and up-to-date information within PatientIQ’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to offer comprehensive support for special projects crucial to driving operational success within the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a finance, accounting, or operations role
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decision-making
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial; knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
- Experience in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment is highly valued
- Readiness to take on diverse responsibilities and work collaboratively
