Senior Unity Software Engineer

We're an LA based an entertainment technology company and creator of Stageverse, a mobile-first cross-platform virtual world for experiences at the intersection of entertainment, gaming and retail. Within Stageverse, people can explore a network of virtual Stages – 3D game-engine powered spaces for immersive and interactive experiences such as live concerts, events, and retailtainment where millions of people can simultaneously meet up as avatars and explore, socialize, and shop.

WE’RE SEEKING

An experienced Software Engineer with C# and Unity engine experience for a remote position (minimum of 40 hours per week required). Qualified applications may be asked to complete a skills test including coding as part of the interview processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project management and ownership of code base
• End-to-end development of new features from concept to deployment
• Writing clean, well-documented, testable code
• Professional level mastery of Unity, C# and 3D application development
• Write reusable, high performance code for our Unity 3D application using C#
• Integrate Unity application with API
• Constantly iterate and optimize application

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years of professional experience developing Unity3D applications, with at least 2 shipped video games or software titles
• Team leadership expeirence
• Minimum of 2+ years experience with C# and .NET Framework
• Unity mobile experience essential
• Experience also with HMD preferred (ie Oculus)
• Experience with integrating to REST APIs
• Experience delivering commercial grade Unity applications
• Ability to excel in a startup environment – able to take on new responsibilities quickly and independently
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the products that you create
• Ability architect and fully own codebase
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
