Representative investments

I led Bessemer's investments in Yelp (2005), LinkedIn (2006), Quidsi/Diapers.com/Soap.com (2007), and Gracenote (2004) among others. I have made three seed investments ($100k or less) in the last 18 months but I generally leave it up to the entrepreneurs to disclose those deals.

Investment criteria (Markets, Team, Stage, Location)

I have investments in consumer internet (Yelp, LinkedIn, Wikia), online retail (Diapers.com, Onestop), consumer software (Intego, Parallels), Saas (Parallels, MindBody) and IT infrastructure software (Metalogix, eEye) and continue to evaluate investment themes in most of these areas.

What markets are you not interested in?

I love platforms, I like great products, and I hate companies which are really just features.
