Product

GuardTime invented an algorithm which proves the location, time and integrity of electronic data. To do this previously required dedicated expensive hardware. Our implementation can be done in software dropping the cost by two orders of magnitude and allowing massive scale. By combining the algorithm with next generation operating systems (Joyent Smart OS) commodity storage can replace tamper evident hardware for regulatory compliance, disrupting a 5bn USD market.

Jason A. Hoffman Unique technology, great team and the time is right for this to be adopted across enterprises and verticals like government, military, banking and insurance.

The key thing to understand is that all compute and data environments can't actually be trusted yet all the current key-based/PKI system require trust at a fundamental level.
